Dennis M. Lynch

Attorney Dennis M. Lynch has received multi-million dollar and record setting verdicts and settlements on behalf of injury victims throughout Illinois, and has also represented individuals nationwide, including cases filed in Indiana, Kentucky, Colorado, and Michigan. He has also represented numerous union flight attendants who reside nationwide and overseas concerning on the job injuries.

His cases have been brought against the largest corporations and insurance companies in the world and have involved all areas of personal injury litigation, including interstate trucking, insurance bad faith, products liability, workers’ compensation, nursing home litigation, and medical malpractice.

Dennis has also pursued appeals in the Illinois Supreme Court and the Appellate Court.  Most recently, he obtained a victory in the Appellate Court on behalf of a union sprinkler fitter who was injured as a result of a defective elevator at a jobsite.  He previously argued and won a landmark case in the Appellate Court involving the traveling employee doctrine in workers’ compensation litigation.

Dennis graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2007.  He began working for a personal injury law firm as a clerk while he was a freshman in college and continued working there while putting himself through college and law school. While studying at Loyola, he was a member of the Law Journal, Symposium Editor of the Consumer Law Review, and received awards for Academic Excellence in Evidence, Advanced Evidence, and Illinois Litigation.

He graduated with highest honors from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois and received the Criminal Justice Department Award. During college, Dennis actively and successfully competed with the American Mock Trial Association. He continues to volunteer his time with the Association.

He is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA) and the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), where he was a member of the Board of Governors-the managing body of the ISBA, and past Chair of the Tort Law Section Council.  As a result of his work on behalf of the victims of trucking accidents, he was appointed to the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice’s Interstate Trucking Litigation Group. He has frequently been invited to speak or write on behalf of ITLA, IICLE, APITLA, ISBA and AAJ on a wide variety of topics. Dennis also lectures at Loyola University Chicago School of Law regarding construction law and related tort and personal injury issues.
